Role & Responsibilities
- Master pattern cutting and material preparation techniques for leather goods across various products (handbags, small leather goods, and other items)
- Execute cutting operations on different leather qualities, thicknesses, and production models with precision and consistency
- Develop proficiency in both manual and machine-based cutting tools and techniques
- Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards and production timelines
- Work collaboratively within an artisanal workshop environment under the guidance of senior craftspeople
- Maintain organized and rigorous workflow management throughout extended production cycles
- Contribute to the preservation and transmission of traditional leatherworking savoir-faire
