Role & Responsibilities
- Download, analyze and reconcile ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) reports for discrepancies and actionable updates.
- Maintain and refresh shared internal files and project documentation to ensure brokers and internal stakeholders have current information.
- Prepare and file entry documentation received from Hermès of Paris brokers in accordance with U.S. Customs requirements; perform entry auditing against ACE data and broker documentation.
- Request, validate and retain origin-office documentation required for compliance (e.g., TSCA, Lacey Act) and escalate gaps promptly.
- Provide timely status updates on critical files and reporting to internal clients and brokers.
- Monitor internal HOP files for compliance and participate in scheduled compliance training.
- Cross-train across divisions and support ad-hoc tasks; work overtime or extended holiday hours as business needs dictate.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant experience (including internships) in customs compliance, brokerage, entry writing or import/export operations.
- Proficiency with ACE reporting and entry auditing procedures.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills — VLOOKUP and PivotTables required; solid command of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of U.S. compliance requirements such as TSCA and the Lacey Act and familiarity with Incoterms.
- Certifications in customs, supply chain or dangerous goods preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across functions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following safety procedures and to work a flexible schedule when required.

Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in customs compliance, data analysis, brokerage or entry writing; internships acceptable as part of total experience.
Education
Associate degree in supply chain, logistics, international trade, business or related field, or equivalent professional experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
