Hermès seeks a Customs and Compliance Intern in Bobigny (Paris) for a 6-month internship supporting regulatory procedures and trade compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Formalize and update customs and regulatory procedures; contribute to the maintenance of existing customs authorizations (Authorized Exporter, Registered Exporter, AEO statuses)
- Control and verify customs declarations submitted by service providers; implement corrective actions when necessary
- Manage the regulatory portal for information collection and archiving; participate in the development and improvement of regulatory performance indicators
- Process CITES permits as required; support the optimization of CITES cell workflows
- Provide support to cross-functional projects impacting the Customs and Compliance division
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelor's or Master's level) in International Commerce, Transportation, Customs, or Supply Chain
- Foundational knowledge of customs regulations from academic coursework or prior professional experience
- Fluency in English and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail

Introduction to or foundational experience with customs regulations and international trade compliance; candidates with prior internship or coursework in supply chain or trade law are preferred.
