Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation and development of all seasonal window display projects with subsidiaries and creative partners, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Advise subsidiaries on window project definition from conceptual inspiration through execution, fostering culturally appropriate creative responses
  • Support artistic talent in designing singular, relevant projects while ensuring technical feasibility, budgetary compliance, and operational viability without compromising artistic integrity
  • Identify, meet, and cultivate relationships with artists, designers, scenographers, illustrators, architects, artisans, and other creatives for potential Maison collaborations
  • Maintain active monitoring of international artistic, cultural, and creative scenes to continuously enrich the department's talent pool
  • Source and oversee scenographic talent for event-driven projects, managing the interface between creative teams, project managers, and external partners
  • Ensure creative quality, aesthetic coherence, and narrative alignment of scenographic projects with Hermès' brand identity
  • Develop content for international seminars, training programs, and best-practice knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Provide regular reporting on project progress to leadership; maintain rigorous project documentation to capitalize on best practices
  • Contribute to defining departmental strategy and managing administrative and budgetary oversight

Qualifications

  • Degree from a business school, art school, or specialized program in art history, design, architecture, interior design, scenography, or cultural project management
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a demanding, international creative environment
  • Demonstrated strong artistic and visual culture with marked interest in contemporary art, design, architecture, craftsmanship, and creative industries
  • Proven ability to identify talent, understand creative practices, and support ambitious project development
  • Established reputation for rigour and organizational excellence in managing multiple complex, multi-stakeholder projects across multicultural contexts
  • Diplomatic temperament, relational intelligence, and demonstrated ability to build trust with artists, designers, agencies, subsidiaries, and international partners
  • Experience in scenography, exhibitions, retail, luxury, design, or cultural production is a major asset
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English
