Hermès Maroquinerie des Ardennes seeks a Continuous Improvement Intern in Charleville-Mézières to support lean manufacturing and quality initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and control systems implementation
- Participate in deploying quality control tools for workshop output and product validation
- Analyze quality data and assist in prioritizing problem-resolution efforts
- Identify non-value-added activities within production workshops and support their reduction
- Collaborate daily with production teams and support managers in identifying operational challenges and developing solutions
- Participate in on-site field exchanges to understand workshop-specific operational realities
- Formalize observations and structure corrective action plans in coordination with production leadership
- Facilitate best practice sharing between manufacturing sites across the Ardennes hub
- Contribute to developing a unified continuous improvement methodology across the three sites
- Support the formalization and dissemination of effective practices identified through operational analysis
- Participate in collective problem-solving sessions to co-develop sustainable and contextually adapted solutions
Qualifications
- Pursuing an engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong aptitude for continuous improvement methodologies, production management, or cross-functional projects
- Recognized for rigor, organizational acumen, and ability to structure initiatives methodically
- Familiarity with Lean principles, 5S methodology, and related continuous improvement frameworks
- Ability to build effective relationships across teams and adapt communication to diverse stakeholders in a multi-site environment
- Valid driver's license (Permis B)
