Hermès Continuous Improvement Intern in Charleville-Mézières, France – support operational excellence in luxury leather goods manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the Continuous Improvement Manager on ongoing projects and operational initiatives
- Deploy quality control tools for products at workshop completion and establish quality management processes
- Establish a best-practice-sharing initiative across the three Ardennes Pole manufacturing sites
- Analyze production data and workshop quality feedback to prioritize improvement roadmap priorities
- Identify non-value-added activities in workshops and participate in waste reduction programmes
- Assist production managers in identifying daily operational challenges and developing targeted solutions
Qualifications
- Engineering school graduate or equivalent educational background
- Previous experience or internship in continuous improvement, transverse project management, or production management
- Proficiency in project management methodology and organization
- Knowledge of 5S methodology and Lean Management principles
- Demonstrated interpersonal and team facilitation skills
- Potential for production team leadership and management development

Experience
Ideally one prior internship or hands-on experience in continuous improvement, transverse project management, or production operations within a manufacturing environment.
Education
Engineering school degree or equivalent; currently enrolled in or recently completed an engineering or operations management programme.
