Hermès — Les Manufactures de Guyenne (Loupes, France) seek a Continuous Improvement Engineer intern for a 6‑month final‑year placement in manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support performance improvement initiatives across production: collect and validate data, perform analyses, propose corrective actions, implement solutions and monitor results.
- Prepare, participate in and facilitate cross‑functional improvement workshops and kaizen events.
- Coordinate improvement actions between supply chain, quality, HSE and production stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Assist workshop managers in deploying improvement measures on the shop floor and follow up with operational teams to secure adoption.
- Produce clear, synthesised reporting and KPIs to track progress and communicate outcomes to site leadership.
- Remain mobile between the two production sites (Loupes and Saint‑Vincent‑de‑Paul) to support local rollout and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Final‑year engineering student or university graduate with a specialisation in production, industrial engineering or equivalent.
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes and working within a production environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data‑analysis/BI tools (Power BI).
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills: teamwork, transversal collaboration and ease of integration into multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Pragmatic, organised and capable of synthesising complex information; proactive with a solution‑driven mindset.
- Result oriented, rigorous and able to work autonomously.

Experience
Open to final‑year students and recent graduates; previous internships or academic projects in manufacturing, process improvement or industrial operations are an asset but not required (beginners accepted).
Education
Engineering school diploma or university degree with a specialisation in production/industrial engineering or equivalent.
