Hermès Continuous Improvement and Process Coordinator in Dayton, NJ. Support distribution center operations through process optimization, SOP creation, and supply chain excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local Distribution management on improvements to workflow, process, and time studies
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all departments and activities at the Dayton Distribution and Service Center
- Define comprehensive process maps for all departments and activities in Dayton
- Develop and implement risk mapping frameworks for operational teams
- Identify and mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain for assigned projects such as transportation network optimization and warehouse slotting
- Support the processes related to the opening of a regional distribution center
- Optimize current New Jersey in-house distribution center operations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Hermès colleagues in France and the US, as well as external partners including third-party logistics providers and consultants
- Execute initiatives aligned with the Hermès 5-year logistics and distribution roadmap in the US, with sustainability as a core consideration
- Perform additional duties assigned by senior management as needed
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of minimum related experience in retail or luxury supply chain and distribution
- Bachelor's degree required
- LEAN certification preferred
- Industrial Engineering degree preferred
- Knowledge of distribution center best practices and processes
- Previous experience at Hermès or another luxury goods retailer preferred

Experience
2–3 years of related experience in retail or luxury supply chain and distribution operations, with demonstrated expertise in process improvement, supply chain optimization, and distribution center best practices.
Education
Bachelor's degree required. Industrial Engineering degree and LEAN certification are preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28.46 to USD 31.45 per hour.
