Hermès Sellier — Pantin: Continuous Improvement & Maintenance Intern (6‑month full‑time internship, start Sept 2026).
Role & Responsibilities
- Support deployment of continuous improvement (CI) projects and Lean tools across the Nouvelles Chances Produits (NCP) site in Pantin.
- Drive autonomously one Lean project from problem definition through to operational roll‑out and performance follow‑up.
- Deploy, update and enforce Lean standards (5S, shop‑floor rounds, job descriptions) and conduct regular field presence (rounds, briefings) to sustain improvements.
- Map material and information flows (VSM), analyse current processes, identify improvement levers and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Collect and analyse site irritants, open/follow/close intervention tickets and coordinate corrective actions with technical teams.
- Accompany technical interventions on site, verify compliance with prevention plans and ensure clear reporting and communication to NCP teams.
- Contribute to HSE compliance: relay safe working practices, report hazards and participate in safety audits (5S safety, zone conformity, equipment condition).
- Support event operations by securing equipment flows, validating readiness and producing post‑event lessons learned (REX) with actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in an engineering school or university at Bac+4/Bac+5 level (industrial engineering, maintenance, logistics or equivalent).
- Marked interest in Lean methodology and process optimisation; ability to lead structured improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Hygiene, Safety & Environment (HSE) principles and sensitivity to CSR issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work transversely and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Rigour, autonomy, analytical mindset and a practical, shop‑floor orientation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience
Beginners accepted; suitable for students or recent graduates. No specific previous professional experience required, but demonstrable academic exposure to Lean, industrial engineering or logistics is expected.
Education
Engineering school or equivalent (Bac+4 / Bac+5). Specialisation in industrial engineering, maintenance, logistics or Lean management is an advantage.
