Hermès International seeks a Compliance Lawyer Intern for a 6-month role in Paris, supporting global anti-corruption and regulatory compliance programmes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the updating and maintenance of compliance procedures in anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and competition law
  • Assist in the implementation and oversight of group due diligence programmes and monitor associated action plans
  • Support the design and delivery of compliance training materials and awareness sessions for internal teams
  • Draft internal policies, guidelines, charters, and compliance codes for group-wide dissemination
  • Conduct legislative and regulatory monitoring across France and international markets
  • Prepare legal notes and regulatory briefings on evolving compliance frameworks
  • Collaborate with international legal teams across the group on compliance matters

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or completing postgraduate studies in compliance, business ethics, governance, or business law
  • Fluent English proficiency both written and oral
  • Strong writing skills and attention to regulatory detail
  • Demonstrated analytical capability and ability to manage complex regulatory topics
