Hermès Maison 6-month internship as Communications Stock Management Assistant in Pantin, France; inventory and loan management role beginning H2 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Track product loans to external and internal stakeholders including press services, subsidiaries, and Maison teams, from preparation through quality inspection upon return
- Prepare, package, and ship Hermès products for loan; ensure timely return, re-tagging, condition assessment, and non-conformance management using dedicated tracking tools
- Manage computerized loan tracking within the dedicated system ('confié') and record inventory movements in M3 ERP, maintaining Excel-based follow-up dashboards
- Conduct regular inventory counts and manage full inventory cycles to ensure alignment between physical and digital stock records
- Follow up with borrowers according to agreed-upon loan deadlines and manage renewal or return processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of stock management procedures and daily maintenance of storage facilities
Qualifications
- Business school or logistics programme graduate
- Operational English proficiency (written and oral)
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable with software systems and quantitative data management
- Proven ability to interact with diverse stakeholders across technical, production, commercial, and communications functions
Skills
Experience
Ideally a first meaningful experience in logistics project management or inventory management demonstrated through academic projects, internships, or entry-level roles.
Education
Business school or logistics programme diploma or equivalent qualification.
