Hermès Sellier in Lyon seeks a Commercial Support Assistant (Apprenticeship) to join the back‑office team — apprenticeship starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to client enquiries across channels (email, phone, WhatsApp, ticketing tool) ensuring impeccable service.
  • Enter and administratively follow up personalised and Internet orders, including inventory checks and order tracking.
  • Monitor client reservations and sales orders; initiate and follow product transfer requests across the retail network and international searches.
  • Support sales teams during peak activity, perform cash register openings and closings and apply internal control procedures.
  • Draft operational tools for VIP appointments (catalogues of exceptional pieces) and create presentation and training materials for store teams.
  • Participate in pilot and cross‑functional projects aimed at continuous improvement and onboarding of new hires.
  • Produce and maintain KPI dashboards for back‑office activity and report results to the Commercial Support Manager.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university, business school or engineering school (Bac+3/4) — apprenticeship contract.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in retail, commercial or marketing functions.
  • Strong customer‑service orientation, dynamism, flexibility and a capacity to work autonomously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an affinity for artisanal luxury products.
  • Proactive mindset with ability to propose improvements and participate in cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Good command of English.

Experience

Minimum one year of practical experience in retail, customer service, sales or marketing roles; prior exposure to back‑office operations or boutique support preferred.

Education

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's‑level program (Bac+3/4) in business, commerce, engineering or a related discipline; apprenticeship contract starting 1 September 2026.
