Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy the commercial strategy for the Footwear métier across assigned zones, ensuring alignment with the global product and métier strategy.
  • Lead sales development for métier and retail/e‑commerce channels: build volume and value forecasts, set OTBs, manage collection sell‑in and preview organisation.
  • Drive product life‑cycle feedback to Collection and Development teams through qualitative and quantitative market insights.
  • Structure commercial assortments and sales tools by store typology; supervise collection sales sessions and seller training to ensure consistent product presentation.
  • Own order management and replenishment strategy (REA) in close collaboration with Supply Chain and supervise execution via H+ with HI.
  • Build market‑level PIC forecasts for the budgeting process and communicate delivery lead‑times and stock strategies to markets.
  • Animate and optimise métier stock (available stock, push offers, staff sales, destructions) and monitor competitive activity and market pricing/VM.
  • Develop and implement local market action plans, visit markets to identify needs and priorities, and support markets in stock animation and purchase optimisation.
  • Manage a Zone Manager and an apprentice: coach, develop capabilities, set objectives and create a positive, collaborative working climate.

Qualifications

  • Engineering diploma (école d'ingénieur) or equivalent higher education degree.
  • Minimum 10 years' professional experience in merchandising or commercial roles within luxury fashion, ideally footwear.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial planning, forecasting (OTB/PIC) and replenishment cycle management.
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching field teams and building a commercial organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong numerical and analytical ability, and a pronounced product sensitivity.
  • Professional command of English.

Experience

At least 10 years of progressive experience in merchandising or commercial roles within the luxury or premium fashion sector, with demonstrable responsibility for forecasting, assortment or replenishment and prior line management of field or market teams. Previous exposure to footwear product and cross‑functional collaboration with Collection, Supply Chain and Planning is strongly preferred.

Education

Engineering diploma (école d'ingénieur) or equivalent higher education degree.
