Hermès Horloger in Brugg, Switzerland seeks a Senior Collection Manager (Mechanical & Métiers d'Art Watches) to define and deploy the five‑year collection plan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the five‑year product vision for mechanical watches, haute horlogerie and Métiers d'Art within the assigned perimeter, translating brand strategy into line and family ambitions.
- Construct, maintain and adjust medium‑ and long‑term collection plans to meet qualitative objectives and revenue targets, and manage product lifecycle decisions.
- Prepare, author and present detailed product briefs (strategic objectives, product intent, timelines, pricing and target volumes, roadmaps and milestones) to internal committees and validation bodies.
- Pilot cross‑functional development timelines and coordinate with Creation, Development, Commercial, Communication and Training to secure alignment and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage go‑to‑market preparation: coordinate product documentation, training materials and commercial launch assets with relevant teams.
- Lead strategic transversal projects (movement plans, Métiers d'Art visions, complications) and convene prospective reflections on new product territories and technical/artisanal innovations.
- Conduct market and trend surveillance and commission targeted studies to inform product decisions and ensure competitive positioning.
- Contribute to the organisation, methods and efficiency of the Collection pole and animate the broader product community.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years' progressive experience in a comparable product/collection role in luxury watchmaking (requisition indicates minimum 10 years).
- Deep knowledge of the watch market, with specific expertise in high‑end and haute horlogerie segments.
- Proven strategic product leadership and strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to convene cross‑disciplinary stakeholders and to present effectively to governance bodies.
- Rigorous planning, strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Significant track record (8–10+ years) in product or collection management within luxury watchmaking or equivalent high‑end timepiece environments, with demonstrated responsibility for strategic vision, collection roadmaps and cross‑functional coordination.
Education
Higher education degree from a business school, marketing programme, or equivalent qualification.
