Hermès Lyon seeks Client Experience Associate (temporary, Nov–Jan 2026) to deliver luxury hospitality and curate exceptional client journeys.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients with warmth and attentiveness throughout the boutique, acting as a 'Maître de Maison' or host
  • Guide customers to their desired departments whilst coordinating with available sales consultants
  • Offer complimentary premium beverages to all clients in accordance with luxury hospitality standards
  • Monitor beverage inventory and maintain cleanliness of all guest areas
  • Support omnichannel customer management (web-to-shop, distance sales, shop-to-shop)
  • Cultivate ongoing relationships with VIP and regular clients through exceptional knowledge of the clientele
  • Gather client feedback regarding previous shopping experiences to drive continuous improvement
  • Recognize and welcome notable personalities whilst adhering to appropriate protocols
  • Manage customer expectations during high-volume periods across accessory, footwear, and jewellery departments
  • Actively collect and relay customer insights to inform service enhancement initiatives
  • Provide additional support for ancillary client requests

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail or high-end hospitality reception
  • Excellent verbal communication and articulation
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
  • Demonstrated discretion and commitment to confidentiality
  • Fluent English language proficiency
