Hermès Cashier position in Palm Beach, FL. Full-time retail support role processing transactions and providing exceptional client service. $24–$26/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Accurately record and process all point-of-sale transactions including sales, sends, repairs, and refunds with compliance and accuracy
  • Perform cash and payment reconciliation at shift opening and closing, verifying adequate cash flow and transaction balances
  • Provide prompt, friendly greeting and high-level service to clients in accordance with Hermès service standards, including assistance with wrapping and packaging
  • Process multiple transaction types including returns, exchanges, refunds, and tax refunds according to company policies
  • Input transaction and client information into the POS system and prepare invoices accurately
  • Support opening and closing procedures with management, including preparation of daily cashier reports
  • Answer incoming calls in a timely and courteous manner, directing inquiries appropriately
  • Support the sales team by providing cashier service and point-of-sale assistance as required
  • Assist with after-sales services administration when needed and partner with management on POS decisions
  • Execute ad hoc duties and general store operations as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment
  • Strong numerical aptitude and detail-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to handle cash with high integrity and meticulous accuracy
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations
