Hermès is seeking a Cashier for a full-time, unlimited contract in Macau. The role handles cashiering and payment follow-up, invoice processing, sales reporting and customer records, while providing shop-floor support as needed.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions and open and close the till each day with a high level of accuracy.
- File outstanding payments and follow up on balances due, including credit notes, deposit notes and gift certificates.
- Generate and validate invoices, including for Web-To-Shop orders.
- Prepare daily sales reports and update the traffic chart.
- Assist with preparing authorization letters when third-party payment is required.
- Answer phone calls and respond to stock enquiries from other shops.
- Maintain customer profiles in the CRM database.
- Replenish cashiering materials and stationery, and keep cashier areas tidy.
- Assist on the shop floor when needed, including offering beverages and wrapping or packing items.
- Liaise with the IT department in the event of system failure.
- Brief customers on mall promotions, when applicable.
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in luxury retail or a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in processing cashier systems.
- Reliable, pleasant, hardworking, detail-oriented, service-minded and well-organized.
- Fluent in Cantonese; conversational in English and Mandarin.
- Good computer skills.
