Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately record and process point-of-sale transactions including sales, repairs and CRM entries; assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver Hermès standard of client service at the register: prompt greeting, product presentation, packaging and client verification.
- Process payment methods (cash, credit card and other forms) with strict compliance and accuracy; handle returns, exchanges, refunds and tax refunds per company policy.
- Reconcile daily transactions and cash balances; verify cash floats at the beginning and end of shifts and assist in preparing daily cashier reports.
- Input transaction and client information into the system and produce invoices with meticulous attention to detail.
- Answer incoming calls professionally and support general store operations and ad hoc duties to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and store teams to promote teamwork and deliver a memorable final boutique experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated cash handling experience and familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale terminal.
- Strong verbal communication skills and customer-service orientation.
- High level of integrity, numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced boutique environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
