Role & Responsibilities

  • Process and record point-of-sale transactions at the register, including sales, repairs, and sends with accuracy and compliance
  • Provide exemplary client service aligned with Hermès standards, including prompt greetings, assistance offers, and professional wrapping and packaging
  • Support the sales team by delivering responsive cashier and POS support as required
  • Process multiple payment types (cash, credit card, other forms) with meticulous accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Execute transactional requests such as returns, exchanges, refunds, and tax refunds according to company policies
  • Reconcile daily transactions and balances, verify cash flow in counters, and confirm amounts at shift opening and closing
  • Accurately input transaction and client information into the system and prepare invoices
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing daily cashier reports
  • Answer incoming calls in a timely manner with friendly and professional customer service
  • Participate in general store operations and ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support overall store operations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with cash register or point-of-sale terminal systems
  • Strong numerical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail
  • High integrity and demonstrated care in payment handling
  • Cash handling experience strongly preferred
  • Customer service orientation and responsiveness
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
