Hermès Cash Operations Manager
Hermès Sellier — Paris (George V) seeks a Cash Operations Manager to lead payments, compliance and MPOS projects for the boutique.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the cash operations team (4–6 people); set objectives, run performance reviews, identify training needs and manage recruitment and onboarding.
- Ensure the accuracy, traceability and compliance of all payment and cash procedures, including daily cash reconciliations, bank deposits (cash/cheques) and terminal controls.
- Operate as the primary interlocutor with store CODIR, IT support, retail operations and internal control; escalate and remediate operational risks and anomalies.
- Manage regulatory and internal compliance matters (Washington Conventions, CITES, mandatory in-store documentation) and deliver related training to store staff.
- Drive systems and process transformation: lead pilots, tests and rollouts for MPOS, remote payment (MOTO) and other mobile payment solutions; support change management.
- Define, monitor and report KPIs for payment performance (wait times, error rates, transaction volumes) and propose continuous improvement initiatives to optimise the checkout journey.
Qualifications
- Higher education degree (Bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in retail operations, including significant responsibility for payments/cash operations; at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
- Proven experience managing and developing small teams in a high-volume retail environment.
- Demonstrated experience driving projects and deploying payment solutions or operational transformations.
- Strong command of internal control and regulatory requirements relevant to luxury retail (including CITES / Washington Convention processes).

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in retail operations with a significant payments/cash component; at least 3–5 years in a management or supervisory position leading cash or payments teams and delivering operational projects.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (higher education diploma).
