Internship in Business Planning & Analysis at Hermès Perfume and Beauty, Dubai. Support Area Managers with forecasting, orders, and market analysis across MEIA region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Extract and monitor monthly sales forecasts by market, including Sell In, Wholesale, and Sell Out data by door and retailer
- Prepare and communicate distributor orders aligned with forecasts, monitoring receipt and ensuring compliance with forecast targets
- Update business plans monthly with Sell In and Purchase data, verifying completeness, accuracy, and data quality
- Coordinate new product registrations with Brand Managers and Head Office to ensure timely completion and maintain current registration procedures database
- Plan point-of-sale materials (POSM) in collaboration with Marketing and Training departments based on business requirements
- Communicate forecast consumption adjustments to the Demand Planning team and coordinate with Customer Service on order status
- Conduct monthly analysis of received data and communicate key insights to Area Managers for the MEIA region (Middle East, India, Africa)
- Manage new customer and supplier account creation, implement pricing structure and incoterm changes
- Update invoicing and market performance monitoring tools and collaborate with Finance on data quality for headquarters reporting
Qualifications
- Higher education background
- Hands-on approach with strong numerical acumen and business development mindset
- Autonomous with recognized organizational skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Excellent communication abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with selective distribution models
- Attention to detail
- Fluent in English; French language proficiency is advantageous
Skills
Experience
Internship or early career position in a commercial, operations, or supply chain environment, preferably within luxury retail or selective distribution. Experience managing business metrics, forecasts, or market performance is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
