Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive store sales through proactive, consultative selling and by developing an active, local client base.
  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service across the full selling ceremony and in after‑sales interactions.
  • Maintain consistently accurate CRM capture and follow up to ensure continuity of client communications and orders.
  • Act as the in‑store metier expert: develop deep product knowledge, provide specialist advice and share insights with colleagues and head office stakeholders.
  • Support visual merchandising standards and ensure merchandise presentation and handling reflect House expectations.
  • Own cycle count results for the metier and propose operational improvements to inventory control and replenishment.
  • Mentor and support Sales Assistants and Sales & Service Ambassadors on complex sales and daily routines; act as a go‑to person for newcomers.
  • Provide qualitative feedback to store management and merchandising teams on product performance and client sentiment.
  • Participate in commercial decision‑making by monitoring competitor trends and supporting VM and buying activities on an ad‑hoc basis.
  • Complete all required training sessions and contribute metier updates during daily briefs.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build and retain a loyal, local client base within a luxury retail environment or equivalent high‑end service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to show warmth, empathy and composure under pressure.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the capacity to translate product knowledge into sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated reliability in operational tasks (stock takes, VM changes) and a disciplined approach to House procedures.
  • Coaching aptitude with a willingness to mentor colleagues and uphold team standards.
  • Resilience, initiative and a readiness to challenge constructively to improve processes.

Experience

Previous experience in luxury retail sales or beauty retail is preferred; demonstrable track record of client development, high‑value selling and contributing to store commercial objectives. Experience mentoring colleagues or supporting complex sales is an advantage.

Education

Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, cosmetics or customer service is desirable but not mandatory.
