Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-store authority for fragrance and makeup, delivering bespoke consultations and advanced application techniques to high-value clients.
- Translate product knowledge into compelling storytelling that connects scents and cosmetics to client lifestyle and identity.
- Drive the Beauty business through proactive prospecting, curated activations, masterclasses and calendared client experiences aligned with commercial priorities.
- Collaborate with Client Relationship Specialists and other métier teams (Fashion, Watches, Fine Jewellery) to create cross-divisional, elevated client journeys.
- Mentor and coach colleagues by designing and delivering training on fragrance, makeup application, launches and selling ceremonies.
- Represent the Maison at external events, VIP functions and PR moments, providing expert artistry and narrative cohesion.
- Provide actionable feedback to leadership and merchandising on client preferences, product performance and assortment opportunities.
- Ensure operational excellence by supporting teams with product recommendations, objection handling and the effective use of in‑store tools and resources.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience in luxury beauty (fragrance and/or makeup) within a premium retail environment.
- Professional makeup artistry certification and/or recognised fragrance accreditation.
- Demonstrable experience with high‑value clientele and relationship‑led selling.
- Experience hosting events, masterclasses or client activations and supporting external brand moments.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and elevate team capability through structured training.
- Excellent storytelling skills, polished interpersonal manner and a discreet, service‑oriented approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership for business development and cross‑category collaboration.
Skills
Experience
Substantial experience in luxury beauty retail (fragrance and/or makeup) with a track record of servicing VIP clients, running activations, and delivering team training and mentorship.
Education
Professional makeup artistry certification and/or recognised fragrance accreditation; vocational qualification in beauty or cosmetology preferred.
