Hermès Parfum Beauté seeks a Trade Marketing Assistant intern in Paris for six months (January 2027) to support Europe Export marketing operations and regional coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Operational Marketing Manager in optimizing market-specific marketing plans and consolidating the Europe Export zone's overall strategic initiatives
  • Manage daily requests from Europe Export markets regarding trade activations (podium validation, point-of-sale displays, window displays, in-store events) aligned with product launches and seasonal campaigns
  • Coordinate and track briefs between regional agents and central teams (Visual Merchandising, International Marketing, Media, E-commerce)
  • Develop and implement semi-annual visual merchandising strategies for all personalized retail spaces and provide recommendations for selective distribution channels
  • Review and challenge planogram recommendations across the zone
  • Conduct monthly performance analyses on product lines and fragrance market performance across multiple zone countries, preparing consolidated monthly notes and quarterly activation reports
  • Prepare deployment plans for each product launch and post-launch reporting for the entire zone
  • Monitor key promotional periods and competitive activity across the region
  • Track and manage trade marketing expenditures and invoice processing for the entire zone
  • Participate in the organization of seminars and regional/international meetings with agents and central teams
  • Coordinate the distribution of pre-launch tools and materials (point-of-sale displays, presentation kits) across all markets

Qualifications

  • Final-year student in a business school, IAE program, university degree program, or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to coordinate multiple parallel projects
  • Structured and synthetic thinking with meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Interest and familiarity with the perfume and cosmetics industry
