Hermès Singapore seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead operations and drive sales at its retail boutique. Lead supervisory teams and oversee client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage, drive and achieve all assigned KPIs; oversee daily and monthly sales targets with supervisory team
- Analyze monthly sales results by métier and share performance evaluations with Store Management for action planning
- Coordinate and execute sales plans, marketing events and promotional programs in collaboration with team
- Ensure Hermès Client Experience standards are delivered consistently across all customer touchpoints
- Recommend strategic initiatives to build and develop a strong regular clientele base
- Evaluate mystery shopping results and coach supervisors on service excellence and soft skills development
- Handle escalated client enquiries and complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Oversee daily store operations and maintain visual merchandising standards consistent with brand image
- Enforce security protocols and procedures across all store processes
- Maintain exemplary grooming and presentation standards for all boutique staff
- Foster positive team culture, team spirit and healthy work environment through exemplary leadership
- Facilitate daily morning briefings with Sales Floor Manager and Store Manager on operational topics
- Oversee new staff onboarding; provide product training, soft skills development and on-the-job coaching
- Support recruitment efforts for Sales Associates, Senior Sales Associates and Supervisors as required
- Contribute to management reporting and performance documentation
- Conduct yearly performance appraisals for direct reports
- Execute other duties as assigned by Sales Floor Manager or Store Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail management or supervisory experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage and achieve sales KPIs
- Strong understanding of luxury retail service standards and client experience
- Proven track record of leading and motivating retail teams
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Ability to analyze sales performance data and develop action plans
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of progressive retail management or supervisory experience, preferably within luxury retail or a similar service-oriented environment. Demonstrated success in driving sales performance, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing operational improvements.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further qualification in retail management or business administration is advantageous.
