Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to weekly and monthly performance analysis by country and product category (sales, months of stock, sell‑through, delivery rates).
- Prepare and present regular activity follow‑ups and ad‑hoc analytical reports in collaboration with Retail Merchandisers and cross‑functional teams (Traffic Acquisition, Customer Experience, Visual Merchandising, Finance).
- Monitor stock levels and coverage by business line and product type; update stock landing figures during OTB exercises (four times per year).
- Manage replenishment of permanent stocked items: define and track automatic reorder thresholds and produce dedicated reporting for stocked permanents.
- Support purchase sizing (OTB framing) for assigned businesses to identify appropriate buy levels, replenishment needs and mix of permanent stocked items.
- Coordinate destocking campaigns twice yearly with Merchandising, Finance and Operations.
- Use core planning and BI tools to maintain data accuracy and support decision‑making (Excel, NeoBI, TM1, Cegid).
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Grande École de Commerce (business school) or an engineering school (final year or on a gap year), seeking an apprenticeship in retail planning/merchandise analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and confident use of PowerPoint for reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and rigor in data handling.
- Autonomous, results‑oriented and able to prioritise during peak activity periods.
- Interest in luxury goods and an affinity for product quality and merchandising.
Skills
Experience
Beginners accepted; the role is designed for students on a césure or completing studies who have academic exposure to merchandising, retail analytics or business analysis. Previous internship experience in retail or analytics is advantageous but not required.
Education
Enrolled in a recognised business school (Grande École) or engineering school; césure or final‑year students preferred.
