Hermès Sellier — Pantin: Assistant Project Manager (Product Development & Industrialization) internship starting Sept 2026 at the Hermès Pantin ateliers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in piloting and coordinating one or more jewellery product development and industrialization projects from early mock-ups to production validation, ensuring objectives for aesthetics, quality, timing and cost are met.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional communication between Creation, Technical teams (Design Office and Methods), Product Data, Quality, Purchasing, Supply and internal/external workshops to secure project milestones.
  • Track project timelines and budgets, anticipate risks, escalate alerts appropriately and implement corrective actions to safeguard delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives: animate adoption of project‑management tools, analyse development costs, consolidate event needs and structure upstream handover processes.
  • Maintain atelier routines and manage prototype and component stocks; coordinate prototype shipments and prepare presentation trays for reviews.
  • Administer project-related purchasing (parts, study fees, tooling), capitalise cost data and keep reporting and project‑management tools up to date.

Qualifications

  • Final‑year engineering school or university student (end‑of‑studies internship or gap‑year) in engineering, materials science, industrial engineering or related discipline.
  • Availability to start September 2026 for an internship contract; based in Pantin, Île‑de‑France.
  • Strong appetite for project management and demonstrable interest in jewellery / product sensitivity.
  • Autonomy, leadership potential and the ability to federate teams across functions.
  • Rigour, analytical thinking, strong synthesis skills and a client/result orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional working proficiency in English (oral and written).

Experience
