Hermès — Assistant Product Manager, Knitwear (Apprenticeship) in Pantin, France. 12-month alternance starting Sept 2026 supporting knit & twill collection development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Knit & Twill Product Manager across collection development cycles: fittings, prototype validation, launch kits, previews and press show preparations.
- Record and maintain all model development data in collection software (Centric) for assigned styles, including codification, color openings and theme references.
- Plan, schedule and prioritise daily launch activities (essays/fittings, prototypes, final launches and runway) to meet delivery timelines and escalate delays or issues.
- Receive and control incoming launches and prototypes; prepare and dispatch documentation and reference models to manufacturers.
- Prepare and update collection documents daily: collection plans, materialboards, fitting catalogs and material specification sheets.
- Support commercial documentation: product descriptions, purchase orders for launches and archival of samples and models.
- Monitor invoicing reconciliation against deliveries and assist in follow-up of collection billing.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or candidate for Bac+5 (Master’s) programme in fashion, product development, textile engineering or equivalent.
- Fluent English required; working knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical and anticipatory skills with rigorous attention to product quality.
- Team-oriented with demonstrated ability to coordinate across studio, suppliers and production.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and familiarity with image/layout software; prior exposure to ready-to-wear technical standards is advantageous.

Open to beginners and students; recent internships or academic experience in product development, knitwear/twill production or ready-to-wear collection processes are advantageous but not required.
Education
Bac+5 (Master’s level) in fashion, product development, textiles, industrial design or related discipline.
