Hermès Parfum Beauté seeks an International Operational Marketing Assistant for a 6-month internship in Paris (January 2027). Support international trade marketing, analytics, and event coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compile and regularly synthesize marketing plans across assigned international zones, ensuring autonomous oversight of regional plan updates and global reporting
- Support local operational marketing teams in implementing trade marketing operations, promotional campaigns, merchandising recommendations, and direct mail initiatives
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators to analyze results of marketing activations and product launches across markets
- Develop and refine marketing presentation tools with a fresh, critical perspective, creating 360-degree syntheses for new launches
- Coordinate market feedback on flagship products and initiatives across the portfolio to inform development teams in masculine fragrances, feminine fragrances, art de vivre fragrances, exclusive fragrances, and beauty categories
- Establish and maintain competitive intelligence monitoring covering new launches, trade tools, and 360-degree marketing devices
- Prepare monthly analysis and reporting on panel results (NPD and other initiatives) with synthesis, interpretation, and actionable recommendations
- Coordinate logistical aspects of regional marketing meetings and events
- Execute administrative follow-up including invoice management, budget closure preparation, retailer incentive procurement, and retail material ordering
Qualifications
- Prior six-month internship experience in a similar operational marketing or trade marketing function (strongly preferred)
- Currently enrolled in a French Grande École de Commerce, Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE), university business program, or equivalent tertiary institution
- Strong analytical capability with numerical data, structured thinking approach, and aesthetic sensitivity
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects with rigor, organization, and autonomous execution
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse internal and external stakeholders with strong interpersonal and adaptive qualities
- Fluent English proficiency and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience
A minimum of six months of prior internship experience in operational marketing, trade marketing, or a closely related commercial function is strongly preferred. Candidates without prior experience but demonstrating exceptional analytical capability, organizational discipline, and commercial awareness will be considered.
Education
Currently pursuing or holding a degree from a French Grande École de Commerce (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Audencia, etc.), Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE), or equivalent tertiary business program.
