Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach sales staff daily, providing training and assistance in achieving sales objectives
  • Maintain active management presence on the sales floor, modeling exceptional service and embodying Hermès brand values
  • Identify sales opportunities through weekly business reviews by métier, tracking deliveries and special orders
  • Conduct monthly touch-base meetings and annual performance evaluations in partnership with the Managing Director and Floor Director
  • Communicate CRM standards and ensure associate compliance to maximize client capture quality according to HOP standards
  • Ensure clear communication of store policies and procedures and monitor team compliance
  • Monitor E-time scheduling needs and maintain accurate records of vacation, time, and attendance in coordination with HR
  • Organize seasonal training initiatives covering key métier points and ensure sales team integration into client conversations
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and maintaining a database of candidates for store positions
  • Make critical client decisions and oversee store operations during the Managing Director and Floor Director's absence

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of retail management experience
  • Prior experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Cegid, and E-time systems
  • Ability to learn merchandise, POS, and payroll systems and troubleshoot effectively
  • Strong ability to interpret sales data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 0–25 lbs. without assistance
  • Flexible work availability as business needs require
