Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise sales staff daily through coaching, training, and sales objective achievement
  • Maintain active floor presence to model exceptional service and ensure all team members embody Hermès values and standards
  • Identify sales opportunities through weekly business review by métier, tracking delivery and special orders to evaluate contributions to boutique performance
  • Conduct monthly team meetings and annual performance evaluations in collaboration with Managing Director and Floor Director
  • Communicate and enforce CRM standards, ensuring daily associate compliance to maximize client capture quality according to Hermès protocols
  • Ensure clear communication and active team compliance with all boutique policies and procedures
  • Monitor e-time and scheduling needs; maintain accurate records of vacation, time, and attendance in partnership with HR
  • Organize and conduct seasonal training sessions on key métier points, internal updates, and point-of-sale integration strategies
  • Maintain and assist in recruiting for an active candidate database; participate in interviewing and hiring for open positions
  • Execute critical client decisions and manage boutique operations during Managing Director and Floor Director visits to Preview and Podium
  • Achieve annual sales targets for the boutique location while ensuring profitability and inventory accuracy
  • Maintain stock levels across all métier categories according to MOS, sell-through rates, and Hermès standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of retail management experience
  • Prior experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
  • Proficiency in office software including Excel and Word
  • Competence with POS systems, payroll systems, and merchandise management platforms
  • Ability to interpret sales data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Demonstrated capability to manage inventory and budgetary responsibilities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance
  • Flexibility to accommodate variable work scheduling as business needs require
