Hermès Services Groupe recruits an Assistant Accounts Payable Manager in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, France. Lead a team of 8 and optimise direct procurement invoicing processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of 8 accounts payable staff, including work allocation and prioritisation
- Monitor late invoice receipts and identify root causes of invoice rejections from operational teams
- Track and follow up on invoices approaching payment due dates, including aging balance reviews in collaboration with management
- Prepare supporting documentation for financial statements (DAS2) in collaboration with the Accounts Payable Manager
- Monitor and clear suspense accounts and reconciliation items
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities and maintain team consistency in accounting practices
- Support the team through system and process changes, including e-invoicing and e-reporting platform implementation
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in accounting or business, or equivalent qualification such as DSCG (French advanced accounting diploma)
- 4–5 years of professional experience in accounts payable within a finance department, accounting firm, or audit practice
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated capability in financial risk management and vendor reconciliation
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and intellectual curiosity regarding process optimisation

Experience
4 to 5 years of professional experience in accounts payable operations, preferably within a corporate finance department overseeing vendor invoicing at volume, or in an accounting firm or audit practice with exposure to multi-entity payables processes.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in accounting, finance, or business administration; DSCG (Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et Gestion) or equivalent French accounting qualification is preferred.
