Hermès — Paris: Assistant Graphic Designer internship (Studio Dessins) for Silk prints, 6-month placement starting Sep 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Studio Dessins team in the development of printed motifs for the Women's Silk line.
- Adapt Hermès heritage drawings for application across a range of silk accessories and garments.
- Apply graphic treatments to archival motifs for specific collection projects.
- Maintain and update the inventory/recap of prints for the Silk (Women's) collections.
- Conduct targeted iconographic research to inform design directions.
- Prepare full-scale (1:1) print proofs, perform cutting of samples and assist with physical mock-ups.
- Scan, digitise and archive paper maquettes and colour boards for the studio’s digital library.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in 4th year or higher at an Art & Design school with a specialization in graphic design.
- Strong sensitivity to drawing and textile; refined sense of composition.
- Rigour, organisation and creative initiative; ability to understand briefs and propose solutions.
- Portfolio demonstrating aptitude for pattern, surface design or textile-related graphic work.
- Fluency in Photoshop and Illustrator is indispensable; working knowledge of InDesign is required.
- Availability for a 6-month conventionné internship starting September 2026 (based in Paris).

No prior professional experience required; beginners and student candidates are accepted. A portfolio of relevant academic or personal work is expected.
