Internship opportunity for an Assistant Designer in Product Design at a luxury goods house in Pantin, France.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the design team in the conception and development of object and product collections
- Assist in the creation of design concepts, mood boards, and visual presentations
- Conduct research on materials, trends, and manufacturing techniques relevant to product design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, manufacturing, and quality assurance
- Contribute to design documentation and technical specifications under senior designer guidance
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a design, product design, or related creative discipline
- Portfolio demonstrating design sensibility and creative thinking
- Understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and product development processes
- Proficiency in design software and visualization tools
Skills
Experience
Entry-level or recent graduate with design coursework or academic projects in product/object design. Portfolio experience preferred.
Education
Degree or diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or equivalent creative discipline. Current enrollment in or recent completion of a design program preferred.
