Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the object designers in the development of decorated objects from concept through to the final prototype.
  • Place and adapt surface decorations on volumes, aligning motifs with maison techniques such as leather marquetry, embroidery, hot‑stamping, perforation, printing and hand‑painting.
  • Develop seasonal colourways and participate in colour matching (contretypage) and maintenance of the digital colour library.
  • Produce full‑scale 1:1 mock‑ups in paper/cardboard, print 1:1 proofs and perform sample cutting and assembly.
  • Prepare technical documentation and occasional technical drawings; update nomenclatures, colour ranges, moodboards and collection syntheses.
  • Conduct iconographic research and contribute materials for creative validation meetings; assist in sending and receiving prototypes.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in 4th year or higher at an applied arts, product design or equivalent school.
  • Strong interest in object design, home‑lifestyle universes and decorative techniques.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to colour, pattern placement on volumes and iconography.
  • Rigorous, organised, meticulous and attentive to detail with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is required; Solidworks proficiency is a plus.
  • Portfolio required; CV and cover letter specifying availability for the 6‑month internship.
