Hermès seeks an Assistant Concept Image Designer in Paris for a fixed-term role developing digital creative content and visual assets for Hermès.com.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the conception and development of original creative assets for Hermès.com and digital customer touchpoints, including still life photography, creative packshots, texture shoots, and animated gifting content
- Oversee shootings and post-production workflows for assigned projects, ensuring quality and timeline adherence
- Contribute to image research, curation, and visual element selection in support of the digital creative team throughout the creation process
- Participate in the design and layout of new website pages (landing pages, editorial pages) and Hermès.com grids; attend live design sessions
- Collaborate on the creation of email template mockups for Hermès.com campaigns
- Monitor evolving trends and innovations in digital visual design to maintain a contemporary and inventive creative approach
Qualifications
- Background in applied arts, design, or related creative discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in graphic design or art direction
- Proven experience in eCommerce and digital projects within a luxury house or communication agency
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Hands-on expertise with web prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Strong understanding and appreciation of Hermès visual identity and brand values
- Refined aesthetic sensibility with current knowledge of design, art direction, and photography trends
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
