Hermès in Paris seeks an Assistant Artistic Coordinator (Intern) for the Drawing Studio — 6-month internship starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct international and multicultural research to identify emerging designers and creative talents across schools, fairs, magazines, books and digital platforms.
- Compile designer presentation dossiers: write background notes, summarise artistic approaches, and select representative imagery.
- Perform iconographic research to illustrate briefs, yearly themes and product‑category universes; support designers in their drawing projects.
- Digitise original drawings, produce mock‑up prints and prepare visual materials for meetings with Artistic Directors and Creative Directors.
- Maintain and update boards, collection plans and designer files; refresh presentations for carré “Studio” subjects and ongoing drawing projects by métier.
- Coordinate actions and timelines between designers, internal stakeholders and external contributors to ensure readiness for creative reviews.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an upper‑level Bachelor's or Master's program in Fine Arts, Art History, Graphic Design or a related discipline; students in work‑study programmes appreciated.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary art and art history with links to an international or multicultural artistic network.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English.
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, initiative and the ability to prioritise under deadlines.
- Autonomy, curiosity, reactivity, rigor and a collaborative team spirit.

Beginners accepted; suitable for students in the later years of a Bachelor's or enrolled in a Master's programme. Previous alternance/work‑study or internship experience in a creative studio or cultural institution is a plus.
Education
Upper‑level Bachelor's or Master's level in Fine Arts, Art History, Graphic Design, Visual Culture or a related field (student status required).
