Role & Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and supervise Asset Protection Associates to ensure compliance and professional presentation
- Conduct routine facility inspections to maintain physical security and document hazards
- Perform and maintain comprehensive audit records and inspections with accurate documentation
- Investigate incidents and violations in collaboration with the Area Asset Protection Manager
- Manage access control procedures for associates and visitors
- Maintain and manage all asset protection equipment including radios, security systems, and surveillance (CCTV, Protex)
- Review POS procedures and report non-compliance; monitor Cegid reports for discrepancies
- Coordinate offsite sales supervision for public and employee transactions
- Conduct biweekly security walks and follow-up assessments
- Schedule Asset Protection Associate coverage and manage time off requests
- Deliver asset protection education during team meetings and group settings
- Report theft incidents to management and coordinate with local law enforcement
- Maintain all asset protection documentation and records on a monthly basis
- Participate in damage meetings with the Area Asset Protection Manager and Operations Director
- Oversee key audits and safe log reviews
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of asset protection, retail, or managerial experience
- 8-hour Pre-Assignment and 16-hour On-the-Job Training certificates
- Security License (mandatory in New York only)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
- Proficiency with standard asset protection equipment and systems

Skills
Experience
1–2 years of asset protection, retail management, or related supervisory experience preferred. Candidates with demonstrable experience in loss prevention, security operations, or retail asset management are encouraged to apply.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. 8-hour Pre-Assignment and 16-hour On-the-Job Training certificates required (or mandatory Security License in New York State).
