Hermès of Paris in New York (Williamsburg) seeks an Asset Protection Specialist — full‑time hourly role focused on retail loss prevention and safety.

Role & Responsibilities
- Enforce company policies and procedures to protect merchandise, cash, equipment, fixtures, employees and clients at the Williamsburg boutique.
- Provide post coverage and stock security; control access for associates and visitors.
- Conduct routine facility inspections, safety checks and audits; complete and maintain accurate inspection and audit documentation.
- Prepare violation and incident reports and liaise with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Review Cegid reports daily (negatives, voids, returns, quota items) and report findings to the Area Asset Protection Manager (APM).
- Manage and coordinate outsourced security guards and supervise all off‑site sales (public and employee).
- Perform key audits, manage safe logs and ensure proper paperwork accompanies any packages leaving the premises.
- Deliver associate compliance checks and AP awareness training; partner with floor management in the absence of the APM.
- Hold monthly touchpoints with APM and APAs to review training, documentation and outstanding concerns.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of asset protection or retail experience; 1–3 years preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of required security certifications for NYC: 8 hr Pre Assignment and 16 hr OTJ certificates and applicable Security License.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and solid incident reporting capability.
- Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities; credibility and trustworthiness.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move and handle merchandise and lift as required.
- Ability to operate required equipment and adapt to evolving operational needs.
