Hermès is hiring an Asset Protection Assistant Manager for the Maison Madison Flagship Boutique in New York. Oversee security and loss prevention programs in a luxury retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the comprehensive Asset Protection Program for the Maison Madison Flagship Boutique and ensure consistent program implementation across all security initiatives
  • Conduct and coordinate physical security and asset protection training including active shooter response, armed robbery protocols, alarm response procedures, and safety compliance workshops
  • Develop, review, and maintain fire safety protocols including egress safety procedures, emergency response plans, and conduct regular evacuation drills
  • Inspect fire safety equipment and maintain detailed documentation of all safety-related logs and records
  • Investigate losses related to theft, conduct cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and perform transportation audits
  • Lead internal and external investigations into security incidents and support the Asset Protection Manager in determining appropriate corrective actions
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local law enforcement to report external threats and coordinate security responses
  • Supervise vendor security guards and provide direct coaching to Asset Protection Supervisors and Specialists
  • Conduct routine boutique security assessments using standardized AP checklists and document findings
  • Ensure all asset protection equipment remains operational and properly maintained throughout the location
  • Manage vendor-related concerns and coordinate logistics for high-profile store events with dedicated security coverage

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of asset protection or loss prevention management experience in a luxury retail or high-security environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in physical security assessments and risk mitigation strategies
  • Proficiency in conducting security investigations and interviewing procedures
  • Knowledge of fire safety regulations and emergency response protocols
  • Ability to supervise and coach security personnel and direct reports effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to documentation and compliance records
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
