The After-Sales Watch Technician repairs and maintains Hermès timepieces, delivers client services and repairs within stipulated timeframes, and supports spare-parts management, quality control and technical training for the sales team. This is a full-time, unlimited-contract role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide clients with professional technical assessments and services.
- Complete after-sales services and repairs within the requested and stipulated timeframes.
- Carry out watch interventions in accordance with Hermès standards and guidelines, ensuring each timepiece functions correctly.
- Take responsibility for all client products received for service or repair and handle them with due care.
- Repair and inspect quartz, mechanical and simple-complication watches.
- Examine watches; remove damaged parts; repair or replace faulty parts; clean components; reassemble, lubricate and adjust timepieces; and test repair accuracy.
- Provide basic polishing and refurbishment services.
- Manage spare-parts logistics, including incoming and outgoing orders for new parts, and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Perform quality control and quick-service activities at the warehouse or stores as needed.
- Enter accurate data into the internal system.
- Work with the Retail Team to ensure smooth delivery and support of clients’ repairs.
- Work with the Retail Manager to provide technical training to the sales team.
Qualifications
- Advanced watchmaking and repair training or WOSTEP certification.
- At least 3 years of successful experience as an After-Sales Technician.
- Experience in the luxury timepiece industry is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure while meeting customer-service standards.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of standard IT tools, including MS Office.
