Hermès seeks an After-Sales and Client Development Intern for its five-month Generation H program, scheduled January 11–June 28, 2027. Based in person at the New York City headquarters, the full-time internship is 37.5 hours per week and pays $20 per hour; the intern will support after-sales initiatives, uniform dispatch, special-order process improvements, vendor validation and research.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager of After Sales with administrative and analytical work on key global initiatives.
  • Assist with all aspects of the uniform dispatch process, from initial data gathering through delivery, coordinating with Paris-based partners as needed.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for After Sales training.
  • Work with the Client Development team to understand the special-order process and identify opportunities to streamline it and create reporting.
  • Support repair-vendor validation by scheduling visits and reviewing vendor tests.
  • Conduct competitive market research to identify new repair vendors.
  • Compile After Sales meeting recaps.
  • Contribute to special projects for After Sales and Client Services.

Qualifications

  • Be enrolled in an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree program.
  • Previous internship experience in fashion or luxury is a plus.
  • Be able to prioritize and multitask in a highly complex work environment.
  • Be able to take initiative and work independently at times.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and work assignments.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Be able to communicate information clearly and concisely.
  • Have strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Be punctual, accurate, and highly dependable.
  • Have strong Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and complete VLOOKUPs.
  • Be proficient in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Be able to work in person at a company-designated location.
