Role & Responsibilities
- Record and validate day-to-day accounting transactions for local Swiss entities and ensure alignment with group IFRS requirements.
- Process supplier invoices, expense reports and customer billing; manage invoice scanning, account coding, archiving and payment preparation.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and follow up on debtor balances.
- Create and maintain fixed asset registers; post asset-related entries and depreciation.
- Prepare VAT account reconciliations and contribute to quarterly VAT declarations.
- Post bank and cash transactions daily, perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations and support treasury reporting.
- Prepare provisions and month‑end/close journal entries; contribute to monthly reporting packages for Hermès International.
- Provide backup support to accounting colleagues during absences and participate in ad hoc finance projects.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5–7 years of professional experience in a similar accounting role with responsibility for local statutory accounting and group reporting.
- Solid knowledge of Swiss local accounting rules and practical experience with IFRS and analytical/cost accounting.
- Minimum five years' hands‑on experience with SAP accounting modules is mandatory.
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, with high professional integrity and respect for procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated team orientation; flexibility to cover varied tasks.

Experience
5–7 years in a comparable accounting position, including at least 5 years using SAP and experience reconciling Swiss statutory accounting with IFRS reporting.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; professional accounting diploma or certification (Swiss accounting diploma, ACCA/CIMA/CPA equivalent) is an advantage.
