Hermès Parfums & Beauté seeks Account Manager for National Accounts in Paris on maternity leave contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Negotiate and finalize annual distribution agreements with assigned retail partners
- Ensure proper contractualization and compliance with all negotiated terms
- Implement agreements within annual objectives, securing new product listings and promotional offerings
- Develop and present comprehensive annual business plans to retail partners
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships between retail partners and Hermès, collaborating across organizational levels
- Define service offerings across logistics, IT, commercial, and marketing domains
- Communicate the heritage, expertise, and singularity of Hermès to external stakeholders
- Coordinate with field teams to maximize account penetration and performance
- Maintain and update profit-and-loss statements for assigned accounts
- Develop sell-in and sell-out forecasts and track performance against targets
- Conduct monthly business reviews and analysis of key performance indicators
- Pilot and monitor commercial budgets including incentive programs, commercial agreements, and structural costs
- Identify and share critical success factors across the organization
- Recommend negotiation strategies, resource requirements, and action plans
- Participate actively in commercial committee meetings
- Collaborate with headquarters support services and functions
- Work closely with paired Trade Marketing counterpart to coordinate retail initiatives
- Lead or participate in cross-functional working groups and task forces
- Recommend necessary strategic and operational improvements
Qualifications
- University degree or Grande Ecole qualification (Bac+5 equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and commercial functions (both headquarters and field roles)
- Demonstrated track record managing national or international major accounts
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities
- Knowledge of the selective distribution channel and luxury retail environment
- Keen attention to detail with strong brand awareness
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English language skills

Experience
Minimum 5 years of commercial experience encompassing both headquarters-based strategic roles and field sales positions. Prior experience managing national or international major accounts within selective retail or luxury distribution required.
Education
University degree or equivalent qualification from a French Grande Ecole (Bac+5).
