Hermès — Paris: Access Control Administrative Officer (fixed-term) to manage badge issuance and access systems at Paris 8th.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage employee and contractor badges end-to-end: creation, modification of access rights, renewals, loss/theft handling (declaration, blocking, replacement) and recovery/destruction at exit.
- Administer the access control system: create and maintain sites, zones, sectors and role definitions; register and update access requests in the management tool.
- Monitor and analyse access logs and event journals to detect anomalies, unused badges and unauthorized access attempts; escalate incidents to security service.
- Serve as the technical interface with FOA, DETS, HSI and IAM and liaise closely with security managers, maintenance teams and referents for contractor badge management.
- Ensure strict compliance with access rights policies and the established doctrine: validate requests, enforce processing deadlines, perform sector and approver reviews and participate in audits.
- Maintain administrative records and archives (requests, authorisations); keep access registers and historical data up to date.
- Report and follow up on badge reader malfunctions and coordinate maintenance interventions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and any ad hoc activities needed for the efficient operation of the security post; accept occasional travel within Île-de-France.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years' experience in access-control or security-administration functions.
- Practical knowledge of access control platforms, specifically FICHET and GENETEC.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite for reporting and record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail, procedural rigor and a strict approach to compliance and security doctrine.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse event logs and identify irregularities.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills and proven experience collaborating with technical and operational teams.
- Capacity to manage confidential information and to prioritise requests under processing-time constraints.

Experience
At least two years' relevant experience managing access-control systems or performing administrative functions within a security or facilities environment, including hands-on use of FICHET and Genetec.
Education
Secondary-school diploma with administrative or technical training; vocational diploma or associate degree in security management, facilities management, administration or a related field preferred.
