Hennessy is seeking a Recruitment Officer intern to support the full recruitment process for interns and apprentices, from vacancy drafting and application screening to interviews and candidate follow-up. The role also contributes to intern events, onboarding days and Maison visits; this on-site internship is scheduled from January to June 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Inform managers that their hiring needs are included in the current budget and provide the job description template to initiate drafting.
  • Work with operational teams to refine, clarify and structure job descriptions so vacancies are attractive and easy for candidates to understand.
  • Publish internship and apprenticeship vacancies on dedicated platforms and job boards.
  • Review incoming applications and assess candidates against managers’ requirements.
  • Present shortlists to prospective supervisors, discuss profiles with them and refine the selection together.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate motivation and prepare concise interview reports for managers.
  • Organize final interviews.
  • Participate in post-interview debriefs.
  • Provide personalized follow-up and thoughtful feedback to all candidates, whether successful or unsuccessful, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Help organize workshops and events for interns and apprentices, depending on the internship period.
  • Contribute to organizing onboarding days for new arrivals.
  • Organize and lead open days or Maison visits for schools and partners, such as France Travail, to present the company, its professions and recruitment processes.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing at least a bachelor’s-level qualification (Bac+3), such as a Master’s degree (M1 or M2), a professional bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent university qualification, in Human Resources, Business School or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and rigor.
  • Empathy, excellent interpersonal skills and active listening.
  • Open-mindedness and sensitivity to diversity and inclusion.
  • Curiosity, autonomy and strong adaptability.
  • Comfortable using Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
