Hennessy Packaging Development Intern in Cognac, France—contribute to luxury spirits packaging innovation in a 4.5-day internship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with project teams to understand project objectives and operational constraints
- Contribute innovative ideas for improving existing packaging, considering materials, environmental impact, functionality, and design aesthetics
- Conduct rigorous quality control monitoring throughout the packaging development process
- Visit supplier facilities to evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Lead defined packaging development projects, such as tracking single-unit packaging initiatives or optimizing decoration on existing technical platforms
- Manage packaging specifications including definition, verification, and documentation
- Design and formalize palletization plans
- Support project management tasks including managing product variations, overseeing testing protocols, writing technical reports, and validating supplier print approvals (BAT)
- Monitor subcontracting launches including decoration and label application for product variations
- Oversee mockup development (conceptual and functional) and conduct receipt inspections
- Participate in technical solution selection and draft specifications and technical documentation
- Manage project timelines and budgetary aspects for packaging tools
- Ensure accuracy of cost tracking documentation
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an engineering school or university program (Bac +3/5) with specialization in packaging, design, or related discipline
- Demonstrated interest in innovation, sustainability, and packaging technologies
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Self-directed project management capability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Entry-level or recent graduate with academic background in packaging, materials science, or related engineering discipline
Education
