Role & Responsibilities

• Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with project teams to understand project objectives and operational constraints
• Contribute innovative ideas for improving existing packaging, considering materials, environmental impact, functionality, and design aesthetics
• Conduct rigorous quality control monitoring throughout the packaging development process
• Visit supplier facilities to evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Lead defined packaging development projects, such as tracking single-unit packaging initiatives or optimizing decoration on existing technical platforms
• Manage packaging specifications including definition, verification, and documentation
• Design and formalize palletization plans
• Support project management tasks including managing product variations, overseeing testing protocols, writing technical reports, and validating supplier print approvals (BAT)
• Monitor subcontracting launches including decoration and label application for product variations
• Oversee mockup development (conceptual and functional) and conduct receipt inspections
• Participate in technical solution selection and draft specifications and technical documentation
• Manage project timelines and budgetary aspects for packaging tools
• Ensure accuracy of cost tracking documentation

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an engineering school or university program (Bac +3/5) with specialization in packaging, design, or related discipline
• Demonstrated interest in innovation, sustainability, and packaging technologies
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Self-directed project management capability
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience

Entry-level or recent graduate with academic background in packaging, materials science, or related engineering discipline

Education

Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) or Master's degree (Bac +5) in engineering, packaging science, materials engineering, or related field
