Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical meetings and project teams to understand objectives and align on packaging improvements across materials, environmental impact, conditioning, and functionality
  • Generate innovative ideas for optimizing existing packaging solutions and evaluate new technologies during supplier visits
  • Conduct rigorous quality control verification at each stage of the packaging development process
  • Lead defined-scope development projects, such as single-unit packaging initiatives and decoration optimization on existing technical platforms
  • Manage packaging specifications including definition, verification, and documentation
  • Design and formalize palletization plans for product lines
  • Support product declination follow-up by managing trials, drafting test requests, consolidating results, and preparing technical reports
  • Monitor production startup by validating supplier print approvals (BAT) and participating in internal production readiness
  • Communicate project progress regularly to the project manager and escalate decision points
  • Follow subcontracting implementations such as decoration and label application for product variations
  • Oversee prototype development and reception controls; participate in technical solution selection and documentation preparation
  • Manage project timeline aspects, tool budget responsibility, and cost sheet precision

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering school or university program (Bac +3/5) with specialization in packaging, design, or related field
  • Demonstrated interest in innovation, environmental sustainability, and packaging technologies
  • Team collaboration capability with strong organizational skills and proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Effective communication abilities and capacity to manage projects with autonomy
