Hennessy On-Trade Business Development Manager | Paris | Lead global on-premise strategy for premium cognacs within LVMH's Moët Hennessy division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define the vision, ambition, and strategic guidelines for Hennessy's on-trade channel in coordination with International and Marketing teams; contribute to strategic planning by establishing volume, price, and A&P (Advertising & Promotion) targets across both short and long-term horizons
- Lead and influence a network of 5–7 regional champions and market stakeholders, building trust and ensuring effective relay of on-trade ambitions into regional execution
- Centralize market feedback and needs, develop targeted solutions, and ensure Hennessy activations are appropriately adapted to local market conditions; may require implementation of specialized tools and platforms
- Drive internal engagement and advocacy across Moët Hennessy, Hennessy, regional offices, and markets through compelling communications, creative incentives, and celebration mechanisms that reinforce the on-trade strategic narrative
- Oversee continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing ROI of on-trade activations, identifying best practices, and promoting execution consistency while maintaining market-appropriate flexibility and local adaptation
- Manage the on-trade Maison budget and identify synergies with the Hennessy My Way Program to optimize resource allocation
- Coordinate the development of required tools, assets, and marketing collateral in close collaboration with marketing and development teams, demonstrating strong project management and agility in delivering efficient, cost-effective solutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in high-end spirits, luxury goods, or hospitality sectors
- Proven track record in roles spanning operational marketing, brand management, innovation, and on-trade or wholesale channel management
- Strategic thinking and world-class marketing expertise encompassing integrated communications, product development, consumer insights, analytics, trade programs, and digital channels
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and influencing capabilities
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
- Demonstrated project leadership and delivery
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and oral—with outstanding presentation ability

Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in high-end spirits, luxury goods, or hospitality industries, with a broad-based background combining roles in operational marketing, brand management, innovation, and on-trade or trade channel management. A demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-regional projects and lead influence-based initiatives is essential.
Education
Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience at the level described will be considered.
