Hennessy seeks a Logistics Supervisor for finished goods operations in Cognac, France. Permanent full-time role managing teams and optimizing warehouse performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics team operations on-site, monitoring performance metrics, continuous improvement, and daily incident management to ensure operational continuity
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance in collaboration with HSE and QSE departments; implement daily safety protocols and procedures
  • Conduct operational team management including performance reviews, training oversight, temporary staffing recruitment, and onboarding
  • Maintain effective communication and positive workplace culture within the operational perimeter
  • Execute logistics activities in strict adherence to Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Productivity objectives, including ISO certification standards
  • Diagnose and resolve daily logistics challenges; propose and implement effective solutions to maintain workflow
  • Conduct annual inventory cycles and monitor action plans to ensure stock accuracy and traceability of finished goods
  • Manage consumable supplies and monitor vendor orders to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Participate in industrial trials and validate development projects impacting logistics operations
  • Ensure seamless production and logistics workflow continuity; oversee workshops operating on two-shift schedules (5 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.–10 p.m.)
  • Allocate logistics resources according to production rhythms and distribution requirements
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize finished goods distribution efficiency
  • Contribute to development project planning and anticipate resource requirements for medium and long-term operations
  • Prepare departmental staffing recommendations and budget forecasts for the assigned perimeter
  • Track activity performance via key performance indicators and Industrial and Commercial Plan (PIC) progression
  • Measure downtime, warehouse saturation levels, and finished goods throughput metrics
  • Monitor health, safety, and environmental performance indicators
  • Participate in annual budget preparation and management; provide accurate reporting to senior management
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive cross-functional priority projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of logistics or supply chain management experience
  • Demonstrated team leadership and people management capability
  • Proficiency with SAP and standard office software applications
  • Strong knowledge of logistics systems and supply chain principles
  • Project management experience and ability to drive execution
  • Capacity for strategic decision-making and arbitration under operational pressure

Experience
